The best and the most important one that i learn, always sit on the fence if it does not apply to you... Though no matter how much you wish to help, the outcome is never pleasant.. As you are implying your thoughts to that situation and wishes it to happen the same way that you want it to happen..
So for a peaceful solution to that helpful attribute of yours, learn to give generic comments and try not to side any parties... Afterall, the only fault that is directed is always towards ALL of the involved party... This is the way to a peaceful mind... Hopefully..
